The Commercial and Industrial (C&I) line of the business is currently seeking an experienced Paralegal to join the legal team based in our Rhodes Office. Reporting to the National General Manager, Legal, the Paralegal will be responsible for providing support to the team through the administration of leasing, property matters and general in-house practice support.

As the successful applicant, this role will see your responsibilities include:

  • Providing instructions and liaison with external lawyers
  • Managing property transaction documentation and finalisation, including leasing and contract of sale documentation
  • Due diligence data room preparation and management
  • Conducting title, company and other searches
  • Participate in briefings
  • Assist in legal matters, close out tasks and queries
  • Matter and file management
  • Ensure accurate document execution
  • Tracking and managing legal costs
  • Managing key internal and external relationships

As the ideal applicant you will possess:

  • A relevant law qualification (or be working towards)
  • Previous administration experience in real estate or legal environments
  • High level of proficiency with the Microsoft office Suite
  • Experience with on-line data rooms (e.g. Intralinks or Ansarada)
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated legal and commercial acumen
