JOB DESCRIPTION

Wilkinson Building & Construction Lawyers Pty Ltd is a boutique law firm specialising in front end and back end construction law.

We are seeking a junior lawyer with a passion for building and construction law, to join our team in North Willoughby, NSW.

This role offers valuable and challenging experience to the right applicant. The position involves exposure to a range of different building and construction related matters. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills and experience, in this exciting area of the law, under the supervision of a senior lawyer, with 22 years’ experience in private practice.

To be considered for this role, applicants will have:

• Completed their law degree, college of law studies, and have been admitted to practice in New South Wales;
• The ability to understand and identify the key issues in a legal matter;
• Good judgement and common sense;
• A high level of integrity and confidentiality;
• Excellent attention to detail;
• Strong communication skills to facilitate effective working relationships with both clients and work colleagues;
• A great work ethic and be flexible and reliable;
• The ability to work both independently and as part of a team; and
• A passion for a career in Building and Construction law.
