About The Job

This is a fantastic chance for a strong lawyer with a couple of years experience to take the plunge in an in-house role. You will join this fast-paced function and help serve 4 very different business units. The breadth and scope of this role will provide you with a fantastic opportunity to develop yourself as a business partner and lawyer.

Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to)

• Support all 4 businesses across the Oceania Cluster as Legal Counsel
• Collaborate effectively with Reg Affairs Managers to aid the Claims Validation Management process
• Support the General Counsel & Senior Legal Counsel with the management & instruction of external legal advisors
• Be a member of compliance team that builds and animates a compliance culture throughout the organisation

About You

You will be a confident Lawyer with a couple of years’ experience in a top tier law firm and ideally you will be qualified to work in both Australia & New Zealand. You will have experience in Consumer & Contract law and be motivated to deliver in a fast-paced environment.

Ideally you

• Are qualified to practice law in Australia (Ideally in NZ as well)
• Have experience in Consumer & Contract law
• Are collaborative and able to work effectively in teams
• Can work to tight deadlines and manage complex situations
• Are willing to travel for work (interstate and to NZ)
