Job Description:

Waterhouse Lawyers is a boutique tax law firm located on Macquarie Street, Sydney CBD. 

We require a Law Clerk who is currently undergoing their Practical Legal Training (PLT) to join our team on a full-time basis.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• assisting with legal writing and research;
• drafting correspondence;
• file and office management;
• liaising with the ATO;
• court attendances; and
• general administrative duties.

This is a hands-on role and you will be very much involved in the running of the practice, dealing with clients, and speaking with the ATO.

The placement commences as soon as possible for the period of your PLT course requirements. However, we are flexible with the duration and commencement date.

Completion of tax law units is a prerequisite.  Knowledge in accounting is advantageous.
