About The Team

The firm has experienced considerable growth in recent years and now has an exciting opportunity available for Lawyer to join our General Insurance group in Brisbane.

As a leading provider of legal services to the insurance industry, our Insurance Law & Litigation group have successfully managed and resolved matters for Australia's major insurers for more than 50 years. The group advises and represents insurers in all areas of litigated and non-litigated claims relating to professional indemnity, directors' and officers' liability, property and industrial special risks, public and product liability claims, life insurance, reinsurance and medical negligence.

About The Role

This position will be working within our market leading General Insurance team working across a range of matters.

Working with some of the world's largest insurance companies in addition to government panels, this role will suit somebody who is passionate about and looking to work and specialise in this area.

About You

To be successful in this role you will ideally have 2-3 year's experience working in a busy insurance litigation practice. You must enjoy working as part of a close-knit team but be able to work autonomously and handle a variety of matters with minimal supervision. You will also enjoy being an enthusiastic business developer who is eager to contribute to the growth of the practice. Fitting into our down to earth high preforming culture is key and as such an energetic and collaborative approach is essential.
