Central Coast Community Legal Centre is seeking full-time or part-time volunteers seeking to complete their practical legal training in a busy generalist practice that provides free legal services to people living, working or studying on the Central Coast. These are unpaid positions.

During your placement with CCCLC you can expect to be exposed to a wide range of legal matters, including debt, fines, family, employment, discrimination, motor vehicle accidents, neighbour disputes, Apprehended Violence Orders and more!
You will gain experience in providing legal information and referral services by telephone, interviewing clients, attending outreach locations, drafting legal letters and court documents, undertaking legal research, developing community legal education materials, engaging in community development and participating in systemic advocacy.
Based in Wyong, NSW, Central Coast Community Legal Centre provides free legal advice to homeless people at Coast Shelter in Gosford; to disadvantaged people at Toukley Neighbourhood Centre; to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people at Mingaletta at Umina and Yerin;- Eleanor Duncan Aboriginal Health Centre at Wyong; and to unrepresented litigants in Traffic and AVO matters at Wyong Local Court. We also operate a Children’s Court Assistance Scheme helping young people at Wyong, Woy Woy and Broadmeadow Children’s Courts.
